When you already know which of the five problems you’ve got. Fixed scope, fixed price, yours at the end.
Every build is quoted on what it actually involves, after we have seen how you work.

Replaces: the spreadsheet that runs everything and the four apps that don’t talk to it

Replaces: the phone, the diary, the whiteboard and the paper job sheet

Replaces: document folders, manual audits and the week before an inspection

Replaces: forms, emailed scoring sheets, and one person holding it together

Replaces: copying data between systems and the spreadsheet that bridges them

Book your free software reviewEverything needed to get a working system into the hands of your team.
Your choice, not our package. We handle this case by case, because the right answer depends on what you have built and who is going to look after it.
The build is finished and it is yours. A working system, documentation and a handover, with no ongoing commitment attached to it.
Much lighter than a partnership. Enough to keep the system maintained, patched and moving as the business changes, without paying for development you do not need yet.
Repositories, infrastructure and documentation transferred to you outright, so you own it completely and can run it in-house or hand it to another team.
Straight to the point. You know the scope and the price before anyone writes code.
The manual steps, the tools that do not fit, the spreadsheet holding it all together. A form or a call, whichever you prefer.
We map the real workflow before anyone writes code, so what gets built fits your team rather than the other way round.
A clear proposal: what the system does, what it replaces, what it costs and how long it takes. Fixed scope, fixed price.
Designed, built and shipped in weeks rather than months. You are in the loop the whole way, then we hand over properly.
If you are not sure yet, that is usually a sign a partnership fits better.
The problem is well understood and the scope is clear enough to price
A single platform to retire the spreadsheets and the apps that do not talk
No lock-in, no dependency on us after the handover
A project that has to land by a date, for a number you have already approved
A UK team, building software for UK businesses.
“They analysed our workflow and built a bespoke platform to replace the multiple generic applications we were using. A strong team of developers who know how to code, and harness AI, to create solutions tailored to specific needs. Highly recommended to any business that wastes time on repeated tasks.”
Stuart Mitchell“Dizzy Otter took the time to understand our vision and delivered a sleek, user-friendly system that exceeded our expectations.”
Jo Marshall“A really great team and experience as a whole. Very quick and efficient in their communication, and the product works smoothly. Any bugs we find are fixed really quickly. We will be using them again in the future.”
Will Wenley“Built us a powerful software solution for the Tech South West Awards — from application process through to judging, plus back end insight galore — dealing with 350+ entries across 20+ categories and judges across the UK. Great job!”
Dan Pritchard“I have been fortunate enough to be working with the incredible Dizzy Otter as Head of Fundraising and Engagement at Vranch House Children's Charity. I can honestly say that the speed of response to enquiries, design skills and upbeat positive manner is truly exceptional. I will always be working with this fantastic business from now on. They are exceptional.”
Emma Mary“We have been incredibly impressed with Charlie and the team at Dizzy Otter. A refreshing approach, a super talented bunch and most importantly, people who take the time to really get to know and understand your business. It's great to work with a local Exeter company that genuinely cares about what they do and the businesses they support. The whole Otter team have been brilliant and we're thrilled to be working with them. Highly recommended!”
Ian HayhurstA fixed price needs a fixed scope. If you know something needs to change but not exactly what, a Development Partnership gives you the same team on a monthly fee, with something useful landing every month. From £1,500 a month.
They start at £5,000 and are priced on what the system actually involves. You get a fixed scope and a fixed price in the proposal, before any work begins.
Most builds ship in weeks rather than months. The proposal gives you a timeline alongside the price, and you see working software in stages rather than waiting until the end.
Yes. You own what we build for you. If you want a full handover of the repositories, infrastructure and documentation so you can run it in-house or move to another team, we will do that properly.
Whatever you want to happen. Some clients take the handover and run it themselves, some take a small support retainer, and some move onto a Development Partnership to keep improving it every month. We work it out case by case.
Usually, yes. A lot of builds are about connecting things that do not currently talk to each other, and migrating data out of the tools you are replacing.
Our own team, and every developer is UK-based. Nothing is outsourced or offshored.
Thirty free minutes with one of the founders to understand the problem, then a proposal with a scope, a price and a timeline. If a one-off build is the wrong shape for it, we will tell you that too.
